Who is responsible

ThetaMask is run by its founders, Erlend Monsrud, Gustav Skrefsrud and Hauk Bjørneklett, and is not yet registered as a company. Until it is, the founders are the data controller for the information described on this page. You can reach us at info@thetamask.com.

The enquiry form

The form on our Partners page asks for your name, organisation, role, email address and message, and sends them to us by email so we can reply. Your email address is used as the reply-to so a founder can respond directly. We do not keep a database of enquiries.

Why we may use it

We process what you send on the basis of our legitimate interest in reading and answering enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). You choose what to send, and we use it only for that conversation.

How we use what you send

Anything you send through the form or to info@thetamask.com is used only to read and respond to your enquiry. We do not sell it, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not send marketing email.

Services that handle it for us

A few providers process data on our behalf: Vercel hosts this site, Resend delivers form submissions to our inbox, and our email runs on Zoho (EU data centre) with forwarding to Google. Vercel, Resend and Google are US companies and may process data outside the EEA. Those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry in our inbox while the conversation is active and delete it no later than 12 months after our last contact, unless it leads to an agreement we are required to keep records of.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. We do not run analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or third-party trackers. The only thing stored in your browser is a small flag in session storage that stops the opening animation from replaying, and it is cleared when you close the tab. Vercel keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and request time, for security and reliability.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you have sent us, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@thetamask.com. If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.no).
